Conflicted - Survival Card Game
« on: December 21, 2013, 02:30:50 PM »
Howdy All,

Someone mentioned the "Conflicted" survival card game elsewhere on the Forum. I am waiting to receive my set of cards. But other may want to find the website so I would like to post the link here:

http://conflictedthegame.com/conflicted-the-survival-card-game/

This seems like the most interesting scenario presentation format I am aware of. I look forward to the arrival of the cards.

Cheers,

MM.

I have a deck, and have given a couple of decks away. You get some very interesting answers from those questions sometimes. Things you might not expect from a given individual. Well worth the money. I'll be glad when the next set comes out.

Just my opinion.

For those who have already received their deck of cards. The folks that made the cards say they will accept and review scenario's sent in by folks like us. If they sellect your scenario, before 10 Jan 2014, your will receive a free deck of cards plus other goodies. The new deck comes out around 31 Jan 2014.

My cards arrived yesterday. I have had a chance to read through the scenarios. Some are more challenging than others, but all are worth reviewing with your family and/or your group.

E.W.F.

I would like to think so. For no other reason than, it makes presenting the material to those who have not been exposed to thinking about emergency preparedness possibly more acceptable if in the form of a "card" game. These are scenarios someone else has come up with, so it also projects that this is common to think about scenarios that you may find yourself in and thinking about solutions now will help you if you ever end up in an emergency/crisis/disaster. If you just present a scenario to a family member or friend they may just brush you off as having an active imagination. Of course, some people will not or cannot be helped from their own ways.

I have purchased a set and I look forward to when the new deck comes out in a month or so.

Cheers,

MM.
