Selecting a G.O.O.D. Cover Pic
« on: December 29, 2013, 07:24:56 PM »

Howdy,

I am starting the process to add artwork to the soft cover edition of my book, The G.O.O.D. Plan - Get Out Of Dodge. The picture above is #4, I have narrowed possible pictures to four. But I am looking for some input from others to help pick the picture with the most cover appeal. The picture that would make you want to pick up the book at the bookstore and flip through a few pages and maybe even buy it.

If you would like to post an opinion, please drop by my blog:

And post your thoughts and opinions of the pictures I have there. If, on the other hand, none of the pictures work, let me know that too.

Thanks,

Mountainman.

#4 then #1
the only problem with #4 is that it is not vertical.

Hmmmm.... Depending on the market you are targeting it may be an idea to lower the focus on weapons. Perhaps a man, his wife, looking into the distance with bino's, some equipment and them holding the book or it as a central part of the equipment. Weapons could certainly be there but not so prevalent.  Just my thought.
THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS... ONLY OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOLUTIONS

I like #1 then #4.  #1 would be better if the title was easier to read.
It may never happen. Best to be prepared just in case.

A continued thank you for feedback and comments.

JAB, I like where your thinking is headed........I may have to do another series of photos. I went with the "sexy" firearms props to get some energy into the pictures. Wrong type of energy??

Thanks again,

Mountainman.
