The course is straight forward. Goto AEMA's website. Download the course manual in PDF. Read the manual. Print off and do the chapter quizzes. That takes 3 to 4 hours. Then go back to the website and register/create profile. Register for the final exam. In 60 minutes or less you will know if you have what it takes to be Basic Emergency Management certified. I did have to request the services of the AEMA folks to get a profile so I could write the final exam. It took me less than 42 minutes to write. Scored a 96%. I am sure most of you on here could do the same or better.
