Nobs,

Just to clarify, we are speaking about a 14' Jon Boat?? Correct.

Unfortunately, my naval assets are currently being stored out of province and do not include any aluminum vessels. But maybe others here do have one to trade.

AHHhhhhh... another good option for moving water where you might need something waterproof is marine bilge pumps. 430 GPH at a 6 foot head goes for $40.00. If you get a float switch as well you can hook up a 12 volt sump pump to take care of water in the basement.

I have 200 gallon water tanks, just use gravity right now, but will be looking at a 12 volt pump. City people will think I am watering garden with city water on wrong day of the week, and will squeal on me, send bylaw around till they see my pump. Still may not be ok, cause bylaw states, you can't water garden on odd days, doesn't mention your own water.

fleetway,

It may be best to stay under the radar and avoid becoming a person of interest to the bylaws office. They may begin to spent too much time watching your activities. If you have your own water supply, they may wonder what else you have and why.

Just saying.......

NoBS,

Just watched your latest vids. :-) Thanks for the plug for my book. :-)

Looking good. I may be wrong but is the Russian SKS not the one with a blade bayonet and the Chinese the one with the spike?? Like I said I could be wrong.

You look like you are still having fun making movies. Keep up the great work!!!

Mountainman.

This SKS had chinese stamps on it so I assumed it was chinese, I was wondering about that myself now that you mentioned it.

A little info from our friends at Wiki..." Type 56 (Chinese) carbines with serial numbers below 9,000,000 have the Russian-style blade-type folding bayonet, while those 9,000,000 and higher have a "spike" type folding bayonet.   :)
