Yaesu FT 8800R ham radio

Yaesu FT 8800R
thinking of picking one up this Saturday.
anyone have any experience with this radio or know if its good, bad?
has some features I like such as being a repeater for my hand held radio.

Not sure about that specific model......but back in the day, we had Yaesu handhelds when I was with PEP in BC. They were good radios. Not as expensive as iCOM, but very close in quality.

Not sure if that helps. I think ICRCC had a link somewhere on here for a Ham Radio website that had lots of radio reviews and other suggestions.
