Moved wood this evening
« on: August 19, 2013, 08:22:23 PM »
A customer at the restaurant that I worked at..came by a few days ago with some wood for my fire pit..not a few pieces a whole maple tree....huge...his large trailer was packed ..I would figure about 4 cords...

So me and the kids helped to roll most of it and unloaded it, it filled up the front part of my car port and my son could not even get his e-bike out to ride to work...

So I called another friend of mine that knew could use some of this wood...and we just spent 2 hours loading and unloading it...he was happy to recieve the wood and I was happy to get it half of it out of my way( I am gettinga few dozen canning jars in exchange for the wood)

ladies hard maple wood not cured or split is heavy( and I helped without breaking a finger nail..lol).I,m pooped hopefully my muscles don't scream tomorrow..

I have other preps to get done...like move whats left to my back yard and finish putting down more weed barrier..grate more laundry soap..oh the never ending prep list
