Toronto born but don't hold that against me. Mom and Dad were city folk, so had to learn from scratch.
Seven years running around the Canadian Rockies and the last 25 plus years trying to get back to the land, every thing from organic veg green house business/ garlic farm/ raising pigs, chicken, turkeys. Not much of a shot, but all skin clean and carry it home.
Just trying to get as sustainable as we can. Thinking of having young couple in to help get there.

Knowledge of prepping: abit of everything
How long you have been prepping: Oh for the last, lets say, 30-ish years or more...
What your prepping goals are: Live like it will never happen, get ready like it will happen tomorrow.

There is a Provincial meeting on July 12th,
I was thinking you could do a demo of primitive bushcraft and hiking.

There will be invites sent out to about 6 different groups as of right now. Please feel free to invite any like minded Group or individuals.

See the info in Provincial meeting 2014 section: http://canampreppers.net/forum/index.php?topic=192.0

Also see the FAQ section on how to navigate Forums, it helps out a lot.
quick tip,
look up to the top left side, under your login name,
show new messages since last visit
show replies to my messages

also on the home page,
bottom left
stats and show current messages, this one shows you all the activity in order of sequence.

Cheers and be most welcome here!

Hi. I am frum southern Ontario.
Lots of military training.
Nuthin prepper, but I am watching the news, and not liking what I see.
Got hunting stuff, but if I get hungry when hunting, I keep a fat brother close by. Warm, self loading meat.
I have just started to think about what to do when the power goes off. Wait 3 days for the Ontario Priemier to arrive with a food basket?
I can survive right now for 3-4 weeks if I have to.
Hope to learn more from you guys.
