Politics trumps medical safety
« on: October 27, 2014, 11:14:35 AM »
I came across this on Naturalnews.com, New York reverses Ebola quarantine as politics overrides medical safety.

"After the nurse outcry, Obama pressured NJ and NY to reverse their Ebola quarantine policies, and New York complied, reversing the quarantine rule and placing all New Yorkers in imminent danger of future Ebola outbreaks:"

Makes you want to shake your head, although it may not be very effective in preventing the spread of the disease it is the second most effective measure that is available after imposing a travel ban.
It may never happen. Best to be prepared just in case.
