Karma +/-
« on: July 31, 2013, 01:47:53 AM »
Good evening.  Can someone advise as to what the Karma +/- is next to your user name on the left side of the forum posts?  What does it mean and how does it work?  Thanks very much.

Karma is a way for Moderators and Admin's to help show recognition to members for:
great info
great posts
great people

there are other modules that are available to the forum so that rewarding would continue to be automated for Karma points.

Negative Karma points are well fairly self explanatory.
Since this forum is setup right now that only Moderators or Admin's can administer these points, we know who are the trouble makers or nasty people.

Some other Forums have it so that anyone who joins up can give karma points +/- although we do not have that set that way just now, we might in the future.

This Forum is Member driven so if you want it that way let us know and others can chime in on what they would like as well!
