Learning defence for the disabled
« on: August 07, 2013, 07:22:38 PM »
I know a fella that lost his legs in an explosion. This guy became a black belt in ju jitsu and is absolutely amazing. His attitude and resolve are so impressive. He told me he felt he had to be better than the average Joe in defending himself. 1 because he just couldn't physically get away from someone and 2 the bad guys would be taken by complete surprise if he had to defend himself or his family. He maximizes every little advantage he can. I should state no belts were ever offered to him as a token he fought for everyone he got. I'll post more on his preps later
