This is a thread that you find on just about every prepping forum. To be quite honest I never thought that it had much value even though I had contributed to the thread in a couple of forums. Why little value? Well because prepping is a lifestyle, it is something that you live, so we are always prepping when we shop, when we visit the hardware store, if we browse a yard sale the list goes on. Therefore I thought it was a little redundant to say that I got great deal on canned carrots or Schneider’s wieners so I bought a couple of cases.
In retrospect however there is value in making such statements no matter how meagre the purchase or effort. It allows everyone to see what others are doing. It may spark an idea or perhaps the realisation that whatever was posted may be something that they would be interesting in pursuing. Who knows you may inspire someone to do something positive. So now, with merit established, in my mind at least, I started this thread. It is not just a place to post what your latest scores were at Costco (

my favourite store

) but also a place to describe skills you have learnt, ideas that you are actively pursuing, places you have been and things you have done that have or might impact your lifestyle as a prepper.
