Now here is a good example to illustrate just because you can do it doesn't mean that you should. For the effort involved I think I'll  stick to my tent. Would you want one of these on the lot next to your house? That is why there is a building code and municipal bylaws. >:D
It may never happen. Best to be prepared just in case.

If you have a roll of plastic in your kit, you could waterproof it, and wind proof it. Easily. You are not going to want to heat your current 10,000 sq ft home. You will want to downsize a lot, and this is a good idea. AND, it can be disassembled, and moved to another site.

This is a great "TARP" deal. I bought 2 of them last year. Very rugged and you can cut to any size you want. Got them from Forrest City surplus in London. You have advertising on one side, but who cares.

For our climate I think it still would more practical (maybe also cheaper too) to cut 2x6  and built regular construction dwelling.
You can frame small size cottage in couple of days and any shape you want.

Don't discount Tarp houses. People founded this country in tents, and under canvas in all seasons. Easy to heat with the right stove, We are no longer that tough, but we can be.

Make or share great info. Be upbeat positive etc get positive karma, so it is a way for others to show appreciation to you.
Then there is the downwards karma, opposite of above so it is way to see what others think of your involvement here.
