Canadian Maritimes here
« on: August 27, 2013, 08:19:15 AM »
Hello, all; some of you may recognize my name from another place  ;)  I currently live in eastern Canada (Nova Scotia), but formerly lived in British Columbia, Lower Mainland area.  I have family from one coast to the other, but like the pace of the Maritimes....like me, it is slow, and I am content to stay here.

DH isn't too on-board, so I consider myself more of a 'want to be ready' type than an actual prepper.  I do buy in bulk as much as possible, have a dehydrator and drool over the pantry porn as I come across it.  I just remind myself that I am further ahead than those who haven't started.  Although I do have some stored, much gets eaten over the summer months when I am not working.  Ah well, September will soon be here and I can start stocking up again.

Thanks for having me aboard.  *waves

Welcome to the forum Grandma and greetings from Northern Ontario. This is a friendly place and we are glad to have you aboard.
It may never happen. Best to be prepared just in case.

Hello Grandma new member,
Lake Lili will be moving out your way soon, maybe you can give her a heads up on some things specific to that region.

Glad your here now, pull up a maple stump and enjoy the fire, we hope you will make this your new home away from home.

Welcome grandma. Did I mention all of my wives are from the maritimes? Oh, but that is another story.
