Agreed.  Let me know the cost, and where to mail the cheque or pick up the badge/pin.

Or, if a template is made please post so we can scan and bring it to a local shop to make.

The idea of the template for the sign is a good one. That would allow some people to make their own. We would need to know size, design and colour (if we are using colour). Lets see if we cannot do just that but lets not post it until we have agreement.
It may never happen. Best to be prepared just in case.

As far as the "penny" lapel type pins if someone can line me up with a source for 1,000 lapel pin clips I will start cleaning pennies. then I will give them away (they literally only cost pennies  :) ) to preppers who want them.

I took the liberty of sending 3 examples of artwork from here.... Rangers, Mountainmans and Greenguys... and asked for a price based on 2 or 3 colors for a 6"diameter back adhesive decal. Here is the reply.

"Weather proof adhesive decals 6 x 6 back face adhesive quantity 100:  $1.62 each.

All prices before taxes.  Quote assumes provision of print ready artwork by customer, else add $90.00 per hour artwork and setup fee as required. 50% due upon inital order, balance due upon pickup/delivery."

That will be for 100 of the same pattern of course.

ICRCC... here is a link to Tie tack blanks...... I think they would work very well.... http://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/72484110/tie-tack-blanks-set-of-50?ref=br_feed_30&br_feed_tlp=craft-supplies

Thoughts?

is this a bumper sticker?

Costs are reasonable.  Masonic stickers usually cost us 5 bucks and up to slab something on my bumper.  The province of ontario wants over 100 bucks to put the masonic logo onto my license plate! lol.

The pin idea is good as it can be worn discretely on a coat or something.

It would be either a 6" x 6" square or circle, not sure which, with the agreed upon logo, adhesive back. It could be affixed to a window, bumper, any solid surface.

JAB,

Sent you an e-mail. This topic is advancing well. @ a $1.62 put me down for 10. Let me know when a design has been chosen and when to transfer funds.

Cheers,

Mountainman.

Will do. We need to decide on a final design. Then I can arrange final details and production. I go for Greenguy's avatar as it is the clearest at any distance.

I have also sent an email to another supplier requesting a price on embroidered badges... Greenguys avatar in coyote/black 4" diameter. Shall we agree to accept Greenguy's avatar as the one to go with?

Greenguy's avatar... in coyote and black... 4" diameter.

What do you think of adding a Velcro backing so it could be easily added or removed from your pack, jacket, etc?

Prepper signs on property no.  Prepper logo patch yes.  Perhaps there could be an entirely seperate, new section where people can submit patch logo ideas.  I think the patch would be good if it's velcro so it can be displayed or removed as warranted.  Just a thought :)

I think the Velcro idea is a really good one. The ability to add or remove the patch as the situation dictates certainly has a lot of merit.

So who is making these, and taking the orders?  How do you want to get paid and arrange for mail/pickup?

I got a quote back on the embroidered fabric patches. Greenguy's avatar in desert tan and black, 4" diameter... "this design would run you $7.75 (without velcro) or $8.25 (with velcro) per patch if you were to order 100 units".

It seems the patch with Velcro is the winner. $8.25 ea plus tax.

The adhesive stickers, 6" size,  with adhesive back and the same logo are $1.62 ea plus tax.

I'll wait till Wild_E gets a quote back from his source for the embroidered ones.
