I think this would make a great outdoor kitchen or gardening area. If you think you will fool your wife... You are fooling yourself!

I always collect pallets when I can, they really do have a lot of uses. My current project is to build two planters that will sit outside a local business and be large enough that they will be unlikely to develop legs and disappear.
It may never happen. Best to be prepared just in case.
