Gravs,

I am waiting for some affordable 7W Cree LED flashlights to arrive from the Amazon Market place. I will post more of a review once I have them in hand. But the price is right and I will get more if they have any quality to them.

Nice illumination collection. :-)

Cheers,

MM.

All,

The new flashlights have arrived. They are a metal design, that use a single "AA" battery. They are bright. Suppose to be 300 lumens on the high setting. I do not have any way to verify that, but I observe they are bright. There is also a low setting and a strobe setting.

The glass lens seems to be on par with flashlights that cost much more.

At $4 a flashlight, I am impressed. I will see how they do in the field over the next few months.

Here is a link to my blog for my full review of the flashlight:

I have tried so many different flashlights, and finally  I bought one in Cabelas for $49 and it is worth every penny. The best I ever had. It is rechargeable in the car (12v) or with 120 in the greed. Re-chargers supplied. Guaranteed  for 5 years. The beam shines to 500 yds You get what you pay for .

Good find and review. Thanks MM. I have all the flashlights I need at this time, ( like that's ever REALLY possible), but at this price you can't go wrong getting a few more just to have as spares and to leave around. Crazy cheap for that quality.

ALL,

Just a quick update on the $4 LED flashlight. I met one of our team members today. They have the same lights. They showed me that the light beam is adjustable from flood to spotlight by simply extending the forward portion of the flashlight. Very cool. Yes, you will get your $4 worth from this light.
