Thanks for that info Gravlore. It has been very quiet on the geological front for some time. We do know that it is only temporary and sooner or Mother Earth will remind us who is in charge.
It may never happen. Best to be prepared just in case.

One of the last books by Jerry D Young makes a point of including this very same Volcanic eruption along with some people and how they deal with it. Check out his last book.

Yellowstone is very active lately.... hopefully just ongoing rumbles. I saw on Discovery the "zones" in North America should that one blow full force. Just west of Toronto will have 2cm of ash. Scary stuff - wild edibles will be slim pickings if this goes.

For us in this part of the world the time of the year at which any eruption took place, heaven forbid,  would be significant.
It may never happen. Best to be prepared just in case.
