I don't understand the permanent forfeiture of their rifles.  They hunted illegally and will pay the fines.  That should be enough.  We don't take cars away from people when they get a ticket for speeding. 
Taking the rifles away permanently is a "just because we can" kind of thing.

Its like that all over canada
In bc fish and wildlife conservatio officer's have more power than the cops no search warrant needed and the first thing to go are all the tools used in the crime
U can't teach greatness and definitely can't fix stupid
