remember what i said about thaT CREEK? well.. its been heavy rain for 2days now. went out late and the 'small' creek was up to 2 ft deep. no problemo. sailed thur it like a trooper/

about 4oclock I,m thinking
' we better get out in case sumtin happens and dont wann be stranded out here in the dark'

famous last words. the creek was 5 ft deep/

only way out so ya gotta try it. soon as the front of the quad dived to well below the water, the motor sucked in a cpl gal of water and there i sat.

unnamed brother sat hi and dry watching my predicament. he finally towed me out but we are still on the wrong side of the creek. no phone service.

I,m thinking we grab the guns and leave the quads in the bush and do the LONG walk out.
finally decided to walk to an access roaD AND SEE WHO COMES BY.

flagged down a side by side and he came and winched us both thru. mine was the only quad that was running when it hit the water so bro's was just dragged thru and fired rite up on the 'home' side.
I waded thur the water 3 times and he never even got his boots wet. :o

we thanked our savior and bro drug me back to the truck..

tomorrow we drain the oil and see about getting mine running.

we spent alotta down time this trip.. with flat tires and submarineing with the quad.

wouldnt have it any other way. gonna take 2 days for all my gear to dry after this. ;)
still no moose

My old Honda three wheeled trike floats, well sort of. Love those big balloon tires. My quad doesn't.

Don't ask me how I know these things.  :-[

carrying bro across so he didnt get his feet wet.. I was the rope 'hooker-upper'
3 trips across to see if there was any deep holes I had missed the first time.

I,m sure I saw a fin in the water :o
