This first one has nearly 3000 different manuals, books and guides that are separated by category and ready for free download. This is the best, most comprehensive single source I've found yet. I added this after posted the link down the page. It's very impressive and has all sorts of helpful files that range much further than your general survival stuff. The info here would probably suffice to literally start a new civilization on a remote island. Everything from electric motors to blacksmithing, growing grains and making glue. This link is VERY comprehensive and contains 100 available guides, each VERY useful. Some go into great detail on small specifics such as wound closure, leather work, combat skills, the ultimate macgayver handbook, etc.. The link does give some good advice. I keep some basic hardware (item #1) in my bug out bag. Always have and have used it on more than one occasion. The item #2, health and beauty products is really a no brainer. It is very cheap to stock up on a five year supply. They take up little room and solved it turn out that you have too much then you have good barter items. With regard to item 3 bleach I find we have to kelp in mind that bleach looses it's potency fairy quickly over time. I find pool shock tablets a better personal choice for me. They last forever and you can make up a bleach solution as needed. Also they take up way less room than plastic bleach bottles, you only need a dry place to store them.
