Happy Couple Of Days After Thanksgiving From Down South
« on: November 28, 2015, 07:33:35 PM »
I haven't posted much in the last few months, but have been checking on new posts now and then.  Anywho, greetings for the season from SE New Mexico!  We are finally getting a bit of winter down here.....high today was 37 F, low last night was 32 F.  it finally feels like the holiday season has begun.  2 years ago, we had about 3" of snow on Thanksgiving.  Earliest since we've been  here..14 years.

Things are going well.  Work-wise, our gov't contract was just rebid and the present company won....first time ever for a repeat.  This is a good thing.  Sweetie is doing well, Bunny (our son) is a freshman in college at our local jr. college and making us proud.  We had more than enough to feast on for our Thanksgiving dinner and are still finishing off leftover turkey/sausage/okra gumbo made from the left-over turkey.

Hope everyone is doing fine!!  Stay warm and dry.

good to hear all is well kajun.

the thanxgiving dinner sounds great.. all except... okra!!! >:D

winter is here in the great white north with some snow onn the ground for a week now and temps below freezing.

woodpile all stacked and winter projects lined up.

wont be no sausage making this yr.

no deer.. o dear.

I was thinking about you the other day when I was going thru my hot pepper seeds.

couldnt buy a hot pepper plant last spring.

I rarely eat hot peppers.. dont wanna burn down the outhouse and the neighbours frown on all that screaming in the wee hrs.

I have zillions of good seeds so maybe next spring I will be the seller of hot pepper plants.

happy belated thanxgiving to you and yours.

of all the things I,ve lost.. I miss my mind, the most
