We are heading to Elliot lake daughter is in hospital she hascto have appendix removed before itcruptutes...she has surgery at 6 tonight. It is a 7 hour drive for us to get there

Our prayers are with you and your daughter.  I know what she's going through.  I had mine out 2 years ago and I'll be 60 on my next birthday.  On the upside, the scar will be hardly noticeable.  Not like it was years ago.

They did not do surgery till 8 pm last nigt. We left at 5pm from home and drove for 4-5 hours pulled over and slept on side of the highway...just got to hospital at 6am she is in ICU recovering...I am on waiting room sipping timmies trying to wake up . will update later on her recovery.          Thank you everyone for thoughts and prayers

So daughter had appendix removed new style through the belly button..she is sore and tired. Resting just ate her first solid meal in five days. We are at friends house they have been a blessing..will update more later

We have made it back home, just landed


Thank You to all of you for your thoughts and prayers..she is doing just fine now..it is amazing how they do surgery now..daughter will be back to school in a couple of days, she was in for the surgery at 8 pm and out of the hospital by 6 the next day


she recovered nicely and we are hoping with this surgery done, that it will clear up some of the health issues she has been having in the past year or so...
