Hi folks from Prepper Nurse :)
« on: August 16, 2014, 08:40:58 AM »
Hi folks! I'm a Registered Nurse with a BSc.N. & B.A. from Southern Ontario, 20+ years in the field. I am delighted to be joining your forum! Canadians & Americans are such good friends :) I am so looking forward to getting to know you! I am on YouTube & Facebook & Forums because I am deeply concerned about the challenges facing us, and more are on their way. We need to help one another get ready for what's coming and for the unexpected, and forums are an excellent way for us to do just that!

Here's a link to a video I did this week on suicide, if you like watching youtube videos. My channel is not monetized by the way :) Prepper Nurse

Welcome to the forum!  I am very happy you came!  We often discuss health related issues that I'm sure we'll appreciate your input on.  Maybe the admin can get you set up with your own section in the author/videographer section (hint)?

Thanks for posting the link to your video on Ebola. It was a calm, common sense approach to a difficult subject. I am sure that it will help many to get over the initial fear that virus instills and focus on prevention procedures.

paranoia here
« Reply #16 on: August 29, 2014, 07:10:55 PM »
ICrcc mentioned prevention.. the only prevention is total abstenance of all contact..

ya right.. but think about it... money changeing hands.. doorknob to get into a building.. gas pumps..  shopping cart..

there is no escape.. only a slight bit of avoidance.  even if you are 'suited up' everything you come in contact with is a probable source.

like i said... paranoia.

I already live in a shack.. dont wanna move into a cave. and whats to stop someone from coming to 'save' me?

you can run but you cant hide. 'prevention' is just a mental placebo.

doomer? maybe.. realist? yeppers.

That is very true it  has happened in my neck of the woods during SARS  and since then when flu pandemics were "looming".
